short version: your thinking stays yours, tink is a companion and not a clinician, and you can delete everything you've put in whenever you want.

01
what this is
a free private beta. it will change, and it might end.

what tinklet is.

tinklet is a thinking-companion app, currently in free private beta. by using it you agree to these terms. because it's a beta, features may change, break, or be removed without notice, and the service as a whole may be changed or discontinued. if that ever happens to your account specifically, you can still get your data out first — see §8.

02
eligibility

eligibility.

you must be 16 or older to use tinklet. access is currently by invite only, during the private beta.

03
your content
the only licence granted is the one needed to run the service.

your content is yours.

everything you write into tinklet — threads, messages, notes, to-dos — belongs to you. the only licence you grant tinklet is the one needed to run the service: to store it, and to send it to the ai providers described in the privacy policy so tink can produce a reply. tinklet has no licence to train a model on your content, publish it, or use it for anything beyond running the product for you.

04
acceptable use

acceptable use.

don't use tinklet for anything illegal, don't try to get around the beta invite gate or the usage limits, and don't scrape or automate access to the service.

05
not advice
load-bearing for this product and this audience.

tink is not advice.

tink is not therapy, not medical or psychological advice, and not a crisis service. it is a thinking companion — it helps you preserve, organise and recover your own train of thought. it is not a substitute for talking to a clinician, and it should never be treated as one.

if you're in crisis or need urgent support, please contact emergency services, or in australia, Lifeline on 13 11 14.

06
ai output

ai output can be wrong.

tink's replies are generated by large language models and can be wrong, incomplete, or entirely fabricated. treat anything tink tells you back — including summaries of your own thinking — as a draft to check, not a fact.

07
availability

availability.

tinklet is a beta product with no uptime guarantee. it may be unavailable, degraded, or rate-limited at times without notice.

08
termination

termination.

either you or we can end your access to tinklet at any time. you can delete your own account, immediately and irreversibly, from the account menu → privacy & data → delete everything — see the privacy policy for exactly what that removes.

09
liability
nothing here tries to override the guarantees the law gives you.

liability.

to the maximum extent permitted by law, tinklet and the two people who run tinklet are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. where such a guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, tinklet's liability is limited to the extent the law allows.

10
governing law
